If you are a tea lover, it is difficult not to get excited about it. Here are some amazing facts about the mountain and tea: The Mountain is regarded as the richest depository of tea varieties in the world. Wuyi tea plants even have their own name – Var Bohea. A Unesco heritage site since 1999, the mountain is renown for its biodiversity. Biologists have been busy conducting field research there since 1873. They have identified nearly 4,000 plant species and 5,000 animal species. Despite the biodiversity, the Mountain is small – it is just a mere 60 kilometer square. Can you imagine how precious an authentic Wuyi tea is?

Jun 4, Issue #90: More Spring Arrivals and Update

It has been a fantastic start to the 2017 tea season and I can’t wait to share the latest news with you. This is my 11th year tea season with this newsletter and I just can’t stopped being amazed by the health-enhancing properties of tea. I have recently upped my intake to 3-5 times a week. I am definitely fitter, calmer and more focus. Incredibly all these benefits for just 1-3 grams of tea buds a day!
